Job Summary
Securex Agencies (K) Limited is seeking to recruit new members in our dynamic team. The Controllers will be responsible for ensuring 24/7 focal point for all security coordination and communication as directed by the Security Specialist and Security Focal Points.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Acts as the 24/7 focal point for all security coordination and communications as directed by the Security Specialist or Security Focal Points
- Operates as the 24/7 single point of contact (POC) for triaging all emergencies and networking to the appropriate resource while maintaining an electronic log of all incidents.
- Serves as command and control node for routine and emergency situations by maintaining communications with the security guard force personnel, the security site supervisor/manager and the Security Specialist/Security Focal Points.
- Operates all emergency communications equipment to include UHF/VHF/HF radios, satellite phones, landlines, vehicle tracking system and cell phones.
- Frequent, proactive monitoring and tracking all client’s and vendor vehicles on mission using the ‘Track 24’ platform in tandem with radio/cell-phone checks with the drivers.
- Monitors the CCTV system for the country Office and acts as initiator for shelter in place and lock down protocols
- Conduct daily checks to ensure that all client’s security monitoring , tracking and operating systems are functional and reports any faults to the client’s Security Specialist.
- Maintains an updated list of point of contact numbers and residence locations for all international and national Client’s residential Staff/Consultants and VMs.
- Providing customers with the organization’s service and product information.
- Completing call notes and call reports as necessary and updating them.
- Obtaining and evaluating all relevant data to handle complaints and inquiries.
- Recording details of comments, inquiries, complaints, and actions taken.
- Give feedback to the client on complaint.
- Conduct periodic equipment inspections and routine tests in order to ensure that operations standards are met.
- Update all monthly reports and share with the head of the department on monthly basis as per the deadlines issued.
Minimum Requirements and Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in information Technology, Security Management, or a Business related field
- Diploma/Certificate in any Customer Service course.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in busy Call Centre within a commercial business setting.

Job Summary
We are seeking to recruit a Field Service Technician who is will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment and systems at client sites. This role involves troubleshooting technical issues, providing hands-on support, and ensuring equipment is fully functional and meets safety and performance standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform installation, testing, commissioning, repair, and preventive maintenance of screening and security equipment, including X-ray scanners, metal detectors, and explosives/narcotics trace detectors, and related products/equipment, in accordance with company and manufacturer guidelines.
- Accurately diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software issues in coordination with the Senior Field Service Engineer or Technical Lead.
- Ensure that all work complies with relevant health, safety, security, and radiation safety protocols, particularly when handling high-voltage and radiation-emitting equipment.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate service documentation, including job sheets, digital service reports (via RESCO/Eworks), radiation safety records, and maintenance logs.
- Engage directly with clients and end-users to address service concerns, provide technical explanations, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and professionalism on-site.
- Carry out regular system performance checks and calibrations to ensure optimal operation and regulatory compliance.
- Participate actively in technical training programs and certifications to continuously improve knowledge of existing and new products and systems.
- Assist in field service projects, including upgrades, retrofits, and system relocations, ensuring timely and quality execution.
- Manage and account for company assets such as service tools, radiation meters, laptops, test kits, and vehicles; ensure all equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and returned in good condition.
- Provide support in inventory and stock management, including requisition and tracking of spare parts and consumables.
- Remain available for scheduled standby duties on weekends and public holidays, responding to urgent calls without delay or conflict.
- Exercise strong time management and planning skills, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently whether on-site or during office-based activities.
- Take initiative to study product manuals, technical documents, and online resources to broaden personal technical knowledge during non-site hours.
- Promptly escalate unresolved technical issues to the appropriate internal teams, ensuring minimal service disruption.

Securex Agencies (K) Limited is seeking to recruit a new member into the Technical Team. The Technical Administrator will be responsible for providing administrative support to the service aspect of the technical team by ensuring closure of all technical issues raised by the client. The incumbent will liaise with client to schedule jobs while coordinating with various departments at the back office to complete assignments.
Main Responsibilities
- Schedule daily and quarterly service visits for technicians.
- Coordinate installation and replacement requests based on client approvals.
- Respond to client emails and service inquiries; liaise with Customer Care for proper follow-up.
- Book service requests via phone and confirm appointments with clients by email.
- Prepare and print daily service schedules (A3 format) for technician use.
- Scan, extract, and file service job cards into appropriate digital folders.
- Prepare job card documentation for billing and submit to Accounts (both hard and soft copy).
- Auto-generate and track closure of client complaints/incidents in the service management system.
- Ensure technical complaints are updated within 24 hours and closed within 48 hours.
- Compile and track service incidents across different zones.
- Raise picking slips for approved client quotations and technician toolkits.
- Generate timely service summary reports for key clients and internal use.
Key Competencies and Qualifications

Job Summary
We are seeking to recruit technicians to our dynamic team. The technicians will be responsible for supporting the technical team in our Nairobi branch. They will ensure quality maintenance, quality installation and service of electronic security systems.
Duties and Responsibilities
- To carry out maintenance and service of electronic security systems such as Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, Electric Fence, Intercom, Electric Gates and Fire systems.
- Ensure all upgrade requirements are reported to clients and to the supervisor in writing through job cards and also informed verbally.
- Ensure security of client’s property and tidiness of the premises while attending to the assignment
- Responsible for sorting the reported issues within the quoted time.
- Responsible for problem escalation and communication to supervisor as required.
- Must keep the reserve of all the necessary maintenance items and carry the required tools at all times.
- Respond to and fix systems, application problems and issues during times of high volume.
- To handle technical complaints from the client.
- To educate the clients on how to operate their systems.
- To report any client requirements to the office immediately.
- Fill a job card for each assignment attended indicating the work covered and any necessary observation regarding alarm coverage adequacy.
- To prepare detailed technical reports after attending incident scenes.
- Ensure all equipment are fully in function when on-site, if not then follow up action should be implemented.
Minimum Requirements and Competencies
- A Degree/Diploma from a recognized University of Kenya in a relevant field with a proven experience as a maintenance technician.
- Working knowledge of multiple security functions and security-driven technology solutions.
- A minimum of three years’ experience in the electronics field.
- Working knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
- Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices.
- A motorbike license with a minimum of 3 years riding experience will be an added advantage, or a willingness to undergo motorbike training.
- Enthusiastic and committed approach with a track record of building strong, trusted base relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
- A sound working knowledge of security best practices and legislation affecting the security role.
- Strong management and leadership skills together with excellent communication skills.
